Jim Hinson is the Director of Tennis at WildeWood and has been with the club for 25 years. He is an excellent instructor and player. He is a certified USPTA Pro I and PTR Pro. He has been the South Carolina Pro of the Year, the South Carolina Player of the Year, and the Southern Pro of the Year.
Kelly is a USPTA 1, certified in 1988. As a player, he achieved a top 40 national ranking in JUCO, and then went on to become an all Western Athletic Conference selection at the University of Texas - El Paso. Most recently, winning the Men's 40 doubles title at the Florida designate in Niceville, Florida in February 2011. Prior to coming to The Members Club, Kelly spent the last years in Navarre Beach, Fl. directing the tennis program at the second largest HOA in the state. Kelly spent 5 years as Director of Tennis at Duke Faculty Club in Durham, and the previous 6 years running his academy out of Audubon Park in New Orleans. He was also Pro of the Year in 1997 for his district in Pennsylvania, while directing the Penn State Tennis Center.
